Admission & Tuition

PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION FOR 2010-2011 SCHOOL YEAR:

In order to be considered for enrollment and to benefit from a Montessori program, a child should be between 3 years and 5 years of age by September 1, 2009. Our admission process is as follows:

1. Complete the application form  and submit with a $100 non-refundable application fee and mail to:

2. Upon receipt of your application, an interview with you and your child will be scheduled with the director and lead teacher.

3. The teaching staff makes all admissions decisions. These decisions are based on an evaluation of the child and parent interview, and the needs and structure of the existing class. If a position is available for your child, a non-refundable $462 registration fee ($609 for kindergarten) should be submitted with a signed enrollment agreement.

4. Upon receipt of the registration fee and the enrollment agreement, we will hold a place for your child in our program. Upon acceptance, you are contractually obligated to one year's tuition.

The Children's House of Old Town admits students of any economic or social class, racial and ethnic heritage, religious belief and family structure.

2010-2011 Schedule of Tuition, Fees and Payment Options
Application Fee: $100

This one time application fee is non-refundable. Required for all new applicants, it is not applied toward tuition.

Registration Fee:

Preschool - $462.00
Kindergarten - $609.00
Submit the completed enrollment agreement and the registration fee to the above address. This payment is applied toward the total tuition and fees. The remainder of the tuition is due and payable in one of the payment options described below.

Tuition:

Preschool - $4,620.00 total for montly plan
Preschool - $462.00 monthly plan
Preschool - $3,950.00 one payment plan
Kindergarten - $6,090.00 total for monthly plan
Kindergarten - $609.00 monthly plan
Kindergarten - $5,207.00 one payment plan

Materials Fee:

Preschool - $150.00
Kindergarten - $200.00

This is a yearly fee applied toward the purchase and maintenance of learning materials for your child's Montessori environment. It is due and payable on May 1, 2009.

Payment Options:

You may choose to pay your child's tuition in one of these plans:

Monthly plan - based on a 10 month payment plan (Registration fee + 9 monthly payments)

One payment plan - 5% discount on entire tuition. Full payment is due on 9/1/10.

Multiple Students:

Tuition for each additional child from the same family will be discounted by 5%. The discount is appplied to the youngest student's tuition. Only one discount may be used per family and cannot be combined with the single payment plan discount.
